Chances are you may have missed the FAA's annual Drone Safety Day celebrations on April 26, but that doesn't mean you should avoid the opportunity to "Fly Right" every day of the year.
In fact, every 12 months, the FAA uses the day to remind the drone community of the importance of safe flying, as well as the contributions of drones to our communities. Educational events aligned with Drone Safety Day typically highlight education, environment, and emergency services.
The Fly Right theme stands for:
- Register your drone
- Interact with others
- Gain knowledge
- Have a safety plan
- TRUST and Train
