Beginning on April 2, 2024, there will be an exceptionally large online auction of more commercial drones & affiliated drone equipment, unlike any we have seen before.

The auction is being conducted by Country Boys Auction & Realty, Inc. for the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court. The auction includes assets from the large drone data collection and analyzing company known as PrecisionHawk, who has filed for Bankruptcy in the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Our crews located and moved the assets from multiple locations including PrecisionHawks main corporate offices in Raleigh, NC and their main airfield hanger facility in Virginia. We have also collected their assets from Louisiana, Texas, and as far away as California and brought them to our facility to consolidate for inventory, inspection, and ultimately the auction.

The assets being sold include more than 360 auction lots with 135 commercial drones including (20) DJI Matrice 600 Pros, (2) DJI Matrice 300 RTKs, (9) DJI Matrice 210s, (7) DJI Matrice 200 V2s, (3) DJI Matrice 100s, and (7) DJI Matrice M30s. Other DJI drones include (10) DJI Mavic 2 Enterprises, DJI Mavic Air2 & DJI Mavic Pros, & (30) DJI Phantom 4 Pros. In addition to the DJI drones, the drones also include models by CENSYS, ANAFI, 3DR, AERYON LABS, SENSEFLY, FIREFLY, and others. There is an enormous number of batteries, charging stations, controllers, and drone support equipment as well.

Maybe more important than the drones themselves is the huge amount of drone-based equipment that is also included in this auction. For example, there are (5) gimble mounted ICI Mirage HC optical gas imaging camera units, (7) RIEGL airborne laser scanners, (2) PHASEONE gimble mounted camera units, (9) MICASENSE RedEdge multi-spectral sensing units, and (5) GEODETICS Geo units. There is a large amount of ZENMUSE equipment as well including Z30s, XT2s, X7, XTs, X5Ss, X3s, X4Ss, H20s, and P1s. Inventory also includes (5) VELODYNE LIDAR units, GNSS stations by D-RTK, and many more.

Support equipment includes DJI RC Plus controllers, TARANIS-E X9E controller, several new DJI CrustalSky monitors still in the boxes, lots of PARAZERO safety and deployment units. AEROPOINTS Smart Ground control points, PENTAX cameras, (50) charging stations and charger kits, and more.

Most of this equipment is used, there are a few new items. As with many Bankruptcy assets, the condition, hours, service records, etc. of the items were not provided to the auction company. The assets in the online auction are available for inspection at our main facility located in Washington, NC prior and during the auction. Everything is being sold “as is” and inspection is highly recommended. We have preferred local shippers to assist Buyers with and shipping needs they may have.

Although we have never auctioned this many drones and related equipment on this scale before, and we are not sure that any other company has either, County Boys Auction & Realty, Inc. is a large auction company that regularly liquidates large volume of specialized equipment. We have reached out to multiple “droning” experts and industry professionals who have been able to provide some assistance with some of the inventory. Our staff has countless hours in presenting this equipment in a manner that is well suited for the Buyers and conforms to the expectations and guidelines of the US Federal Court system. We feel that this format, platform, and catalog is the best way to liquidate these assets in these circumstances.
