About:

My name is Wajid Bey, originally from Tuskegee, Alabama. I am a husband, father, and grandfather who values family, hard work, and continuous learning. In my personal time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, and working in my yard. Being outside has always been something I enjoy, which naturally led me to pursue work that combines technology with the outdoors.

Professionally, I am an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot and the founder of Beyline Aerial Services, where I provide professional aerial imaging, mapping, and inspection services. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with several major utility companies and organizations across the United States. My experience includes projects supporting companies such as Hawaii Electric, Bluegrass Energy in Kentucky, Central Virginia Electric Cooperative (CVEC), Southern California Edison, and Pacific Gas and Electric Company.

Through this work, I have gained extensive experience performing drone inspections of both distribution and transmission infrastructure, including utility poles and transmission towers. My work has also taken me into telecommunications infrastructure, where I have conducted drone-based cell tower inspections.

In addition to infrastructure inspections, I have experience in drone mapping and aerial data collection for various types of projects. I have also completed drone inspections supporting insurance underwriting and claims, providing high-quality aerial imagery and documentation to assist in property assessments and evaluations.

I take pride in delivering accurate data, safe flight operations, and high-quality results for every mission. Combining advanced drone technology with attention to detail allows me to help clients make better decisions using reliable aerial information.

When I’m not flying missions or analyzing aerial data, you can usually find me outdoors tending to my garden or spending time with my family—still looking up at the sky, just with a drone nearby.
