The UAV Shenzhen Expo 2025: A Glimpse into the Future of Unmanned Systems

From May 23 to 25, 2025, the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center became the epicenter of drone technology, hosting the 10th Shenzhen International UAV Expo. This landmark event, co-located with the 9th World Drone Congress, showcased over 800 exhibitors across a sprawling 66,000 square meters, drawing participants from more than 80 countries.


A Comprehensive Showcase of UAV Innovations

The expo presented a diverse array of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and systems, reflecting the rapid advancements in the field:

  • Industrial UAVs: Drones tailored for agriculture, firefighting, logistics, surveying, and border patrol.

  • Consumer UAVs: Aerial photography drones, racing drones, and recreational UAVs.

  • Unmanned Systems: Including unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), unmanned surface vessels (USVs), and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs).

  • AI & Robotics: Service robots, industrial robots, and AI-powered automation solutions.

  • UAV Supply Chain & Components: Materials, coatings, flight simulators, and other essential components.


Notable Exhibitor Highlights

ZIYAN Tech unveiled its latest UAV lineup.

  • F15 UAV: An advanced eVTOL UAV designed for long-range applications, featuring an open ecosystem and a carrying capacity of up to 5 kg.

  • Shadow S3: A long-endurance helicopter UAV capable of 100-minute flight times, optimized for stability and speed.

  • Grey Whale G1: A cargo delivery UAV designed for challenging terrains, capable of lifting up to 15 kg.

JOUAV introduced its fourth-generation intelligent VTOL drone hangar, the JOS-C700, paired with the upgraded CW-15V UAV. This system supports 24/7 remote operations, featuring automated drone storage, autonomous takeoff, real-time data transmission, and AI analysis. It's designed for applications in public safety, emergency response, and infrastructure inspection.

SIYI Technology showcased its full-stack intelligent ecosystem, including the launch of the UniRC 10 and an AI Training Platform, emphasizing advancements in drone control systems and AI integration. 


Conferences and Forums: Shaping the Future

The 9th World Drone Congress, held concurrently, featured over 40 parallel forums and keynotes from global experts.Discussions centered on the theme "Entering a New Era of Low-Altitude Economy," addressing topics like industry policy insights, technological challenges, and future trends.


Global Collaboration and Networking

The expo fostered international cooperation, with participants from countries including the U.S., Germany, Japan, South Korea, and India. Leading domestic institutions like the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology also played a significant role, emphasizing China's commitment to advancing UAV technology.
